Is your inbound inventory actually protected?

When Amazon loses your inbound inventory, don’t let your profit disappear with it.

Amazon inbound inventory - High warehouse shelves stocked with cardboard boxes and pallets

Imagine… You just sent off a huge shipment, we’re talking thousands of dollars of inventory, to Amazon. You track your items for weeks.

Then, you get the email…

Amazon says they lost your shipment. Now what?! You were expecting thousands of dollars of profit. Now you’re stuck. They only pay for your sourcing cost, nothing for prep, shipping, fees, etc. It leaves you stuck with money left on the table and no stock left.

Meet Assureful, the insurance built for sellers

This is exactly why we teamed up with Assureful. If you haven’t heard of them yet, you’ll want to keep reading.

They are an AI native insurance provider backed by ‘A’ Rated insurers. They use a Pay As You Ship model that connects directly to your store.

It is fast, smart, and quite possibly the missing piece to your business: insurance coverage on every single shipment you send to Amazon!

How lost inbound insurance actually works

Insurance can be confusing and sometimes doesn’t seem to make sense. Assureful makes it super easy to understand what’s being covered and how much you’re paying up front.

Here’s the breakdown:

  • It covers the profit gap. Let’s say you have a unit that sells for $100. If the net value is $80 but Amazon only pays you $20 for the cost, Assureful pays you the $60 difference.
  • The process is automatic. When you create a shipment, the data flows through your Reimbursements Portal to Assureful. You get a notification when your shipment is eligible, and you can review your rates and coverage costs right from your dashboard.
  • Claims are filed for you. If items go missing, the reimbursement team automatically files a case with Amazon. Once Amazon pays out their portion, Assureful sends you an ACH payment for the rest. There is no manual paperwork on your end.
  • It’s affordable and flexible. On average, coverage costs about 0.50% of the insured value and as little as 0.10% of the shipment value! You can choose to insure individual shipments or all your shipments automatically, and you’ll only pay for the protection you want.

Relying on platform reimbursements alone doesn’t work. Amazon is always going to protect their own bottom line first. We want to help you protect yours.

Through our partnership with Assureful, you can ship your inventory with total confidence. Even if your items vanish into thin air, your revenue doesn’t have to go with them.
