InventoryLab Fall 2026 updates: What’s new and what we fixed

After Amazon’s required migration to SP-API last year, a lot of you hit problems in InventoryLab List 2.0, and you told us about them loudly and often. Batches rejected mid-submit. Searches that spun for minutes. Fees that vanished from your books after Amazon renamed them. We heard all of it.

This fall’s updates are mostly fixes, and that’s the point. Errors are drastically down, and InventoryLab is the most stable it has been in a long time. Here’s what changed.

Prep errors are down by over 85%

Nobody wants to find out about a prep problem halfway through submitting a batch. Amazon’s prep rules were rejecting batches at exactly that moment, so we went after the causes one by one.

Invalid Prep Owners can no longer be selected, so you can’t pick your way into a rejection. New listings now default to “No Prep,” which lets first submits go through. If a replenishment has no Prep Owner, InventoryLab switches it to Seller automatically. And when Amazon sends conflicting prep requirements, InventoryLab now handles them per SKU instead of blocking the whole batch. One problem SKU no longer holds up everything else.

Clearer batch errors tell you what to fix

Even with fewer errors, Amazon will still flag items now and then. The difference is that you no longer have to hunt for the cause.

When Amazon flags items, Find It shows one line: “N items need attention.” Open it, and you get a filterable list of every affected item, its MSKU, and the reason it was flagged. If the Continue button is greyed out, a line underneath tells you exactly how many items are holding the batch back.

Find It stops wasting your time on slow searches

A slow query in Find It used to spin for minutes with no error, and the only way out was reloading the page. Now the same query stops in about 30 seconds and tells you why.

Box It is faster and more reliable

Three fixes landed in Box It, and each one removes a small, repeated annoyance.

The scanner now stays in Listening mode when you add or switch boxes, so you don’t have to click Scan again after every item. Quick Box no longer renumbers boxes in reverse, which means your labels, Packing ID, and carrier label all describe the same carton again. And when you move a Pack First batch back to Find It and resubmit it, you no longer end up with stray duplicate boxes.

Missing FBA fees are back

A profit number is only as good as the fees behind it, and some fees had gone missing. FBA Inbound Placement, 30 Day Storage, and Removal Order fees are back in Other Expenses and Profit & Loss. FBA Inventory Reimbursements no longer post as $0.00. If Amazon renames a fee again, it now appears under Amazon’s own name instead of silently disappearing from your books.

Anything that was missing is being backfilled. We expect the backfill to be complete for all accounts by the end of the year.

Buy List imports are cleaner

Importing a buy list should not feel like defusing a bomb. Four changes make it less tense.

Rows with no sale price now take the listing’s price instead of landing at $0.00. Duplicate supplier names no longer break the whole import. Adding the same ASIN twice updates one listing instead of creating duplicate MSKUs. And when you merge a repeat purchase, InventoryLab averages the cost by quantity so your ROI stays accurate.

AI Operator handles InventoryLab tasks for you
